Transport accounts for 40% of the total carbon emissions released into the atmosphere. We travel to get to work, to go on holiday and to enjoy our free time. Our carbon footprint is therefore bigger or smaller according to the transport we use in every kilometre travelled.

The metro emits four times less CO2 per km than a private vehicle. Besides that, it is one of the means of transport that releases fewer gases into the atmosphere per passenger transported, thanks to the use of electric power. It is also the means producing the least noise, occupying the least space and having the lowest accident rate.

Based on these benefits, at Ogilvy we designed a graphic piece that helped raise citizen awareness of the use of the underground as the least polluting means of transport. A focus was placed on environmental commitment as TMB’s core brand value, as well as its cooperation in the fight against the effects of climate change.
