This publication features more than 20 years of images, with visual icons and top models such as Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Lizzy Jagger and Milla Jovovich.

We were tasked with the exciting and difficult challenge of conveying the strength, quality and modernity of a great company, a benchmark of international fashion among opinion leaders and CEOs of major companies all over the world, from different sectors.

We had to present Mango’s trajectory over more than two decades in a highly visual and experience-related manner, based on the premise that building a great brand calls for taking painstaking care of every last detail.

To this end, at Ogilvy we created a limited-edition luxury book, sealed with a button whose string had to be unwound to reveal the details within. The covers were made from the same material as the buttons. Inside were pages of paper and fabric that had featured in its first collections, the actual labels of celebrated garments that effectively conveyed the cultural and creative mind-set of seeing and interpreting fashion and its trends though a model of experimentation that is a hallmark of Mango’s identity.
